FLARE Rocketry
Welcome to FLARE Rocketry Print E-mail

The Fellowship of Las Cruces Area Rocketry Enthusiasts (FLARE) are a small, but very active Rocketry club based in Las Cruces, NM. We have conducted many special events and outreach programs over the years. Most recently, we hosted the Apollo 40th Anniversary Commemorative events series, and the NAR 2010 National Sport Launch. Follow us on Twitter™ @FLARELC.

We launch every month and we have open workshops several times a year, plus a show at the local mall where we display our finest rockets and invite everyone to the hobby. We also stage an annual Spring Eggloft with competitions, prizes, and drawings.

Our members belong to the NAR, TRA, or both, and we conduct model, medium power, and high power launches year-round.

If you think that rocketry just might be your thing, you really should check us out. This is easy to do. Just join us on the first Saturday of any month, at the Waterfalls launch site. You'll find a friendly crew with lot's of smiles, and easy answers to your questions about our exciting hobby.

Find out where we launch, how to become a member, or read helpful articles in our Rocket Talk section.
